Top 5 Movies I Watched On X-Mas Holidays

And I am back with a top 5 movies I watched on holidays that went very very well and bad at the same time! A good thing: I spent most of my days in bed, resting and working on my university assignments. A bad thing: I did it because my immune system had completely given up on me. I caught a cold with all possible privileges (a fever, earache, headache, runny nose etc.). And when I recovered and just before I left, I woke up with a food poisoning at 3 o’clock in the morning. My parents almost called an ambulance considering I lost consciousness a couple of times and my body rejected all the food I’ve taken in the previous day. I am so glad and thankful to my dear parents who were there for me. I don’t know what I would do without them!

But back to the point! Here are 5 movies I absolutely loved. Most of them is a re-watch and all of them are either a fantasy or a sci-fi. I love these two genres and if you have any recommendations, please, comment below!

Pan (2015)

Who would have guessed that I would like it? I don’t really like re-makes of the same story over and over again. The Disney cartoon and the movie Peter Pan (2004) are already my favourites and I was very sceptical about this one. Plus, it doesn’t have a very high score. Nonetheless, it was not the original story we all know and, thus, thoroughly enjoyed it!

Harry Potter

Harry Potter (2001-2011)

Classic! I read all the books except the last one so much I was upset when Dumbledore was killed. I find it very interesting to re-watch Harry Potter movies in like a week. You can really see the difference in acting and how dark it gets. Starting from the third movie, I cry every time. I am a very empathetic person, what can I say?

Martian-poster

The Martian (2015)

Finally, got my hands on Martian! If there is one thing that freaks me out the most it is the space. Especially, when a human is in space. All alone, by himself. But never mind my goose bumps! It was incredibly beautiful! Thumbs up for the plot and Matt Damon was brilliant!

Inception (2010)

Another re-watch. I’ve never particularly liked Leonardo DiCaprio, but his last movies are so damn good. And this one has everything too keep you concentrated: special effects, actors’ play and, of course, the plot.

Interstellar (2014)

Last but not least: Interstellar! It is now one of my favourite movies ever! I’m not gonna talk too much about it because I has already went into more details in this post. Without spoilers, of course!
