I just watched Interstellar and could not resist the urge to write about it! This film completely blew my mind. I’ve heard so many people talk about how good it is and finally found time to see it. And let me tell you, these were the most amazing 169 minutes spent!
The story goes as how our planet is living off its years and there are less and less chances to save the human race. And so, Cooper and three other team members take off to find keys and answers to our survival in space.
It’s not all sci-fi which I’m not a fan of. The movie is so much more than about spaceships, space and time. It opens up so many questions about our own humanity: how do we protect our family? can we trust people we know? what about people we don’t know? So many times my eyes would tear up and I would get goose bumps.
And oh my, the image and visual effects! A m a z i n g! Hats off! Watching the film made me think how beautiful our Nature is. But, also, how deadly dangerous it can get. Music-wise, I could not expect any less from Hans Zimmer. I have been listening to the Interstellar soundtracks long before I watched the movie, actually. You can hear it on Spotify or Youtube.
Last but not least, I really loved the acting! Interstellar got a few awards for the visuals for obvious reasons. But the actors were on top as well!
Have you seen Interstellar? If yes, did you like it? I would love to hear if you have any recommendations!
P.S. Sleeping, watching movies with my parents and working have been my holiday program for the past week and a half. Quality time! It might seem very passive to some but I’m quite content about catching up on some sleep and recovering after a nasty cold I got just after I had flew back home. I’m certainly going to do top 5 movies I watched post soon! Happy New Year, everyone!
